StringerBessant Gala Gig

We are stoked to announce that the mighty StringerBessant will be playing an exclusive set at the LS/FF on Thursday 9th October, as part of the opening night festivities. Gary Stringer and Jack Bessant are the nucleus of the band Reef, and their gravelly, soulful  folk-rock is the perfect soundtrack for the start of the festival.

Gary and Jack are long time surfers and when not gracing the Glastonbury stage, they might be found playing an intimate gig at the European Fish Fry surfing shindig or catching a few waves somewhere secluded along the rugged southwest coastline. Check out their tune ‘All the Horses’ below.

The guys will be on stage after the premiere of ‘Stephanie in the Water’, so if you are a night pass holder you’ll be able to enjoy a sample of Skinners fine ale, and some cracking tunes to boot.
