2012 Coverage Highlights

London Surf / Film Festival 2012 was another ‘standing room only’ success – thanks to everyone who came and all the filmmakers who submitted their projects to us. Across 4 nights we showcased 13 of the year’s very best features from across the globe including 5 huge European premieres, 4 UK premieres, the pick of international shorts plus the very best short films from homegrown filmmaking talent in the culmination of The Shorties – our short film competition open to filmmakers from or based the UK and Ireland. Alongside we curated a creative space ‘The Approaching Lines Room’  where we hosted a gallery show of works from leading photographers, artists and artisans, a display of some of the most progressive boards being shaped in the UK,  talks, Q+A’s, workshops, live music and beers.
