“Originally from landlocked Somerset, I’ve always felt a pull toward the ocean. Now based in Cornwall, I’m a surfer, surf photographer, and budding filmmaker. My whole life revolves around surf and the sea – even when I’ve tried to shake loose I can’t (laughing nervously). I also get to proudly say I am now the first female guest editor of Wavelength Surf magazine, where I get to put pen to paper and help tell the stories of our beautiful surf community in more ways than before.
My Favourite surf film would be a toss-up between ‘Sprout’ by Thomas Campbell because it’s so simple, and just reflects the art of surfing so well, with no fancy filming or high tech cameras. And then ‘Gaza Surf Club’ because it’s so raw and emotive, showing just how much surfing can create a haven for people – the whole film just shakes you to the core.”
