Commissioners Grand Shaka

Wednesday 28th May we hosted a very special screening of the multi award-winning documentary Splinters. More than 200 people packed into the Riverside Studios for this sold-out cinematic showcase and Q+A with Andy Able President SAPNG. We were honored to have Her Excellency Winnie Kiap, High Commissioner Papua New Guinea join us for the evening and talk with strength, humor and humility about her country, and her relationship with the ocean. Under the tutelage of Irish surfer Easkey Britton, she also busted out a shaka, much to everyone’s delight!

We’re stoked to have raised over £1,000 through ticket sales from the evening and that money is being donated to SAPNG to buy surfboards for the local clubs.
