After our hiatus in 2020 – we are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back the London Surf / Film Festival for our delayed 10th anniversary.
We want to assure you that at every stage in planning the 2021 event we have had the safety and health of all festival goers front and centre. We are following all Government guidelines and regulations – and if these change in the run-up to the event, the festival will follow suit.
Understandably some people are nervous about being in an enclosed space for a prolonged period of time. You will notice that we have moved venue from the 200 seat Regent Street Cinema to the vast 560 seat Genesis Cinema – our venue for many previous events. Unlike in the past, we will not be operating at full capacity. Our ticket numbers will be strictly limited, allowing everyone lots of room to spread out in the auditorium, in the large bar area and beyond.
Our team are being asked to take regular Covid-19 tests and we would encourage our audience to do so before attending the festival. Obviously if you do feel unwell please err on the side of caution and do not attend.
While Government guidelines leave social distancing and face coverings as a matter for personal choice, we would encourage visitors to wear one.
We also encourage festival goers and staff to keep hands clean by regular washing and sanitising at one of our hand sanitiser stations.
All high traffic and regularly touched contact areas will continue to receive additional cleaning.
