LaVecchia_1Autumn is a golden time to be a surfer in the British Isles, consistent waves begin to light up the coastline and the 4th annual London Surf / Film Festival presented by Reef hits the UK.

Hosted 9-12 October, this year the festival is moving East to the Genesis Cinema bringing an awesome programme of the very best surf films from around the globe to the UK – a line up to inspire and redefine the parameters of possibility. “There’s a real buzz about bringing the festival East this year,” says LS/FF Creative Director Demi Taylor. “And we’re excited to be working with our new venue The Genesis – it’s a proper independent cinema, home to an incredible 500 seater big screen as well as more intimate spaces, it’s got a gorgeous gallery that we’ll be taking over for the duration as well as the lounge and bar of course!”

Accompanied by exclusive talks from waveriding’s most inspiring heroes, gallery shows, music, artisans and more, this saline hit of inspiration is a must for anyone of a salty persuasion.

“We’re stoked to welcome Reef back as presenting partners for 2014. Reef has consistently worked with and supported the most exciting surfers and creatives in the surfing world, from adventurer and filmmaker Kepa Acero and icons like Rob Machado to WCT chargers like Mick Fanning and Kai Otton, “ says London Surf / Film Festival Director Chris Nelson. “It’s great to work with a brand who are so embedded within the whole surfing lifestyle and we’re super excited about this partnership going forward.”
