Short films are a central pillar of modern surf culture, a creative outlet for sharing stories and inspiring stoke. This 11th Edition of  LS/FF Shorties presented by Surfdome was as hotly contested as ever with entries from the best established and up and coming homegrown talents serving up inspiration from the furthest reaches of our fair isles, super 8 traveloguing, moments of chaos, moments of clarity, animated cyber dreams and everything in between. Congratulations to all the creatives who shared their films – they’re the good people who keep the stoke fires burning long after the wave is spent.

The shortlist of films represent the cream of homegrown surf filmmaking talents and will be shown on the big screen as part of the 11th Annual London Surf / Film Festival hosted 25-26 Nov at the iconic Riverside Studios, W6 and 2 December at the legendary Genesis Cinema, East London with a few exciting events popping up too…
