FIRST ANNUAL LONDON SURF / FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED

October 13-15th 2011 sees the 1^st annual London Surf / Film Festival hit the UK. Hosted at the iconic Riverside Studios on the banks of the Thames the festival is a showcase for the cream of international surf filmmaking. Across three nights we will be screening the pick of productions from established and emerging independent filmmakers, features from internationally acclaimed directors, UK premiers as well as the best short film productions from Britain and Ireland’s leading surf filmmakers. Alongside the screenings will be Q+A sessions with leading figures from the world of surfing as well as a pop up mixed media gallery that celebrates what it means to be a surfer while blowing the lid off perceptions of what ‘surf art’ is all about.
