>> BUY EVENING PASS  >> Saturday 4th December >>   HERE

The LS/FF 10 gala closing night is a celebration of home and away, a journey though the awe-inspiring into the sublime.

We’re stoked to present the UK Premiere of the inspiring and intimate Undone Dir. Steve Wall, following the hard charging Laura Enever falling off the world tour and throwing herself over the ledge of some of the world’s most terrifying waves, with some very real consequences.

We’re premiering a selection of incredible short films that celebrate the pinnacle of surfing here on our shores – featuring the likes of style master James Parry for the UK Premiere of 70’s Single Dir. Greg Dennis, to hard charging grom Lukas Skinner in the world premiere of Concrete’s Harder Than Water Dir. Seth Hughes and a glimpse of the best from up North in the world premiere of Home from award winning filmmaker Lewis Arnold. Accompanied by the best of The Shorties – Here, You Are Welcome Dir Jem Talbot, Window Dir. Seth Hughes, Single Fin Shootout Dir. Lucy Jane.

For the closing gala we’re honoured to present the UK premiere of the re-mastered seminal surf movie Morning of the Earth. Crafted by ground breaking Director Alby Falzon 50 years ago and still perhaps the greatest surf movie ever made, now lovingly restored in stunning 4K and premiering on the big screen for the first time in half a century. The surfing, cinematography and soundtrack are sublime; it’s a film that has inspired legions of creatives and waveriders alike. Yes, we’re stoked! This is what Saturday’s should always look like!
