A 19th century treasure-hunter’s journal inspires a journey in search of a mythical wave in some of the most dangerous waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

How far would you go searching for something that may not exist? For renowned skipper, Matt Knight the challenge of uncharted waters is impossible to resist. Accompanied by his family of surfers and adventurers (inc. Peony and Taz Knight) plus acclaimed big wave charger Andrew Cotton they set sail in pursuit of the ‘perfect wave’. Serious injury and life-threatening challenges test the tight knit crew for whom living life to the full often means putting themselves in harm’s way.
