We’ve been overwhelmed by the quality and variety of entries we’ve had for the LS/FF Shorties contest. Filmmakers from across the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland have submitted an awesome selection of films, the best of which have made the official Longlist. But now we are throwing it open to you. Take some time out, kick back, check out the films and vote for your favourite. Your vote, plus those of the London Surf / Film Festival submissions panel will decide the top eight to be screened as part of the festival programme at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith on the 13th to the 15th October 2011. These films will then be judged by the LS/FF Screening Panel in the category Shortie of the Year, with the winning film being premiered in New York and Canada.
