LS/FF 2022 – THE DROP

11th London Surf / Film Festival hits the capital 25-26 November at the iconic Riverside Studios, 2nd December at East London’s legendary Genesis Cinema, with pop up events in between. Bringing to the UK the very best surf films from across the globe – hotly anticipated premieres, documentaries to inspire, travelogues to stir the wanderlust and plus cinematography and surfing to blow minds, you’re not going to want to miss this.

Accompanied by ‘Audiences with…’ some of the most exciting names in surfing including enigmatic hard chargers Balaram Stack and Tom Lowe, surf adventurers, Kepa Acero, Peony, Taz and Matt Knight, groundbreaking filmmakers including Alice Ward, Ben Gulliver, Mikey Corker, a very special Q+A with Dir. Lewis Arnold hosted by Looking Sideways’ Matt Barr, plus special guests, workshops, good times and more, LS/FF is a true celebration of the cream of surf culture.

Founded in 2011, LS/FF has brought to the UK some 240 World, European Premiere and UK Premieres. But it’s about more than that. Founded around our kitchen table a decade ago, in the deep mid-winter, after a few good waves, we had the idea of bringing together the UK surf community to share the stoke, the storytelling, the culture. We’ve made friends and films along the way, championing emerging and established creatives, showcasing the very best of surfing in the here and now, and LS/FF has grown to become a gathering for the global waveriding collective.

For many of the movies we premiere, the festival is the only chance to watch them as they were intended to be enjoyed – on the big screen, accompanied by likeminded folk – the original “social media” experience.  See you there!
